Mr. Willis Edward Price, age 60 of Sparta, passed away at 10:06pm Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Willis was born May 31, 1962 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was a former heavy equipment operator and factory worker. He loved shooting pool, playing cards and was a talented gardener. Willis is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean "Lucy" Price; father Donald Edward Price; grandparents Willie James Thomas Price, Lovie Yarbrough, Monroe & Evelyn Burton.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include three children Heather Strode (Marco) Torres, James Robinson and Jorden Jones

Grandchildren: Sybril Strode, Samiyah Hockett, Julian Torres

Uncle: Erbie Price

Aunt: Melody Burton

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12:00pm Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Pastor Diantha McLeod will officiate.

Clay Leftwich, Jr., Sam Dibrell, Keith Kirk, Ronald Strode, Tobey Culley and Tim Dibrell will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Henderson and Gary Gardenhire, Jr.
