Mrs. Wilma Janice Young Miller, age 87 of the Gum Springs Mountain Community passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the residence of her son.

Wilma was born at the foot of Gum Springs Mountain on July 15, 1938 to the late Ben F. and Pearl Lee Young. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening and keeping up with her soap operas while she worked around her home.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Luther Miller who died September 21, 1997; son Gary Brymer; daughter Janice Brymer; granddaughter Elaine Walker; sisters Sherry Humphrey and Darlene Young; brothers Erbie Gene Young, Ben F. Young, Jr. and Charles Young.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her two sons Ronnie (Sally) Brymer, Luther (Amy) Miller, II

Grandchildren: Rachel Brady, April Alexander, Alex Brymer, Sheyenne Brymer, Gregory Matheney, Kayla Dunn, Tyler Miller, Eric Miller and Kristopher Cade

Several great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Lord's Chapel Church with burial in Young Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Saturday at the church. Dewey Young will officiate.

Eric Miller, Tyler Miller, Hunter Young, Sheyenne Brymer, Casey Walker and Kayla Dunn will serve as pallbearers.
