Ruby Rowland Carver age 97 of Quebeck passed away peacefully Saturday January 23, 2016 at her residence in Quebeck, Tennessee.

Mrs. Carver was born February 14, 1918 in the Joppa Community of Walling, TN to the late Everett & Ida Shuster Rowland. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Rock Island Presbyterian Church, where she was the secretary of the church Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Clifford Boyd Carver of Quebeck; brother Theron Rowland; sisters-in-law Mary Lee Rowland and Dorris Little Rowland all of Sparta; son-in-law Bobby Rhea Wallace of Quebeck; niece Cathy Cantrell Rowland of Sparta.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Faye Carver Wallace of Quebeck

Grandson: Randy Ray Wallace and wife Shanee' of Sparta

Two great-grandsons: Peyton Heath Wallace and Maddux Reece Wallace of Sparta

Brother: Thomas Everett Rowland II of Sparta

Two nephews: Thomas Everett Rowland III of Sparta and Joe B. Rowland of Nashville

Two great-nephews: Thomas Everett Rowland IV & wife Shayna, Mason Boyd Rowland all of Sparta

Great-great niece: Lyla Rowland of Sparta

Great-great nephew: Gage Rowland of Sparta

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with entombment at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 3-7:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home.

Rhett Rowland, Mason Rowland, Dean Denton, Matt McBride, Terry Farmer, Mason Farmer, Anthony Nash and Thurman Mason will serve the family as pallbearers.
