Mrs. Barbara K. Rollins Clemons, age 83 of White County, passed away Saturday morning December 2, 2017 at Life Care Center of Sparta after an extended illness.

Mrs. Clemons was born November 19, 1934 in the Bon Air Community of White County to the late Clifton and Catherine Lambert Rollins.  She was a homemaker and a member of West Sparta Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by an infant sister Patsy Sue Rollins.  She was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by those who knew her for quick wit and beautiful smile.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years Rufus Clemons of Sparta

Three children: Rick (Sue) Clemons of Winter Park, Florida, Ann Vanderbilt of Forest, VA, Dean (Angela) Clemons of Fincastle, VA

Seven grandchildren

Six great-grandchildren

Brothers: John "Bo" (Chris) Rollins, Louis (Ruby) Rollins, Ralph (Louise) Rollins, Charles "Bud" (Shirley) Rollins

Sisters: Sandra (Malcolm) Page, Shirley (Phil) Schryer, Donna (Don) Kirby, Charlotte (Lynn) Payne

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Bon Air Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home.  Derrick Coble and Ken Bray will officiate.

Eric Page, Jason Clemons, Matt Clemons, Grant Clemons, Ryan Stuller and Steve Rollins will serve as pallbearers.
